Agenda:
   8:30 AM: Coffee, doughnuts, welcome and registration
   9:00 AM: Program begins and will include:
   Primary focus on hobby beekeeping, frame and hive parts.
   Good assembly practices.
   Bee protection, what to wear?
   Fuel and how to light a smoker and keep them lit and smoker safety.
   Question and answers
   Queen report
   ABF report
   12:00 PM: Bring a dish to pass for the potluck
   1:00 PM: Election of new chairman
   Distribution of state info on bee diseases. Flyer with numbers of bee suppliers. Call for a catalogue.

Northeastern District Meeting

Where:
Mosquito Hill Nature Center

New London, WI
When: 1:00 pm
Directions: located just off US Highway 45 and State Highway 54
Latest beekeeping issues will be discussed and a bee video shown.

Hands on Honey Bee Workshops
A series of three experiential classes designed to help beginner beekeepers learn hive management techniques. Each class will last 4 hours long. Class participation is capped at 10 participants to ensure everyone has an opportunity to participate. We will be working with bees during each workshop. Participants are expected to provide their own bee veil, gloves, and bee suit or appropriate protective clothing, plus smoker if at all possible.

Directions: 2 miles west of Ashland off of Hwy 2
Meat dish will be provided. Please a bring dish to pass and your own tableware.

When: 10:00 am
Mite control will be the main topic of the day. Their will be a potluck. Bring an item for the auction for the queen’s fund.
